Custom Hoodies & Crewnecks for Teams
June 11, 2026 · Los Angeles Printing Depot

A good custom hoodie is the piece people actually keep wearing — which makes it perfect for teams, staff, and clubs. Get three things right and the whole order goes smoothly.
1. Pick the right blank
Mid-weight fleece (around 8–9 oz) is the sweet spot: warm and substantial without feeling like a blanket. Decide pullover vs. full-zip (zips read more "uniform," pullovers more casual), and remember hoodies run a touch warmer and roomier than tees, so size accordingly.
2. Print or embroider?
- Embroidery on a left chest or sleeve looks premium and is the default for company/staff hoodies.
- Screen printing wins for big, bold front or back graphics and team designs.
- Many teams do both — embroidered chest logo, printed back.
3. Size the group the easy way
The classic mistake is guessing sizes. Collect a quick size count first, then order to it. The designer lets you set quantities per size and see the total price as you go, and you can save the design and share a link so the group can confirm before you submit.
Consistency across the run
Order all the hoodies together in one run so the blank, color, and decoration match exactly — a reorder weeks later can land on a slightly different dye lot. Buy a couple of extras in common sizes for new members.
